We remember the items you have already read and show this using the coloured markers against each topic and message. A green marker indicates an item that you have read previously, when nothing has changed since that time. A yellow marker means that you have read a topic previously, but new messages have been added to it subsequently. A red marker denotes a new item that you haven't read before.
